Pain Management

image1

Qi is the vital substance that flows through the body's meridians that connect to all our major organs. Any kind of pain or illness represents a change/obstruction in the flow of Qi. Acupuncture can help unblock the meridians or restore balance and harmony to the body.

We offer Acupuncture for many types of pain.....back, neck, knee, wrist, elbow pain etc...….

Low Back Pain

This type of pain is associated with the Urinary Bladder and Kidney Meridian.  This is one of the most common conditions in our clinic.  Low back pain can limit your daily activities making walking, standing or sitting difficult and limit your range of motion.  Acupuncture may successfully reduce your chronic or acute back pain in a reasonable time so you can resume your daily and sports activity with less or no pain, have normal sleep, and get off toxic pain medication or steroids.

Sciatica

The most common type is one with pain that travels from the low back down the middle section of the back of the leg.  This is called UB sciatica, because it is related to the Urinary Bladder Meridian pathway.  If the pain goes along the frontal of the leg, it  relates too the Stomach Meridian energy   blockage.  If it travels along the outer side of the leg, it relates to blockage along the Gall Bladder Meridian.  Acupuncture works well for this condition by unblocking the Qi in the meridian.
